Booked on blogging

I got side tracked from the PLAN program when I found books on blogging on the library shelf which I began to read in hope of finding something useful to add to my professional website. From there, I did see how local businesses were using blogs on their sites, and I found a couple of blogs relating to book reviews which I wanted to share with other PLAN participants. Check out:

My easiest lifelong learning habit

"Using Technology to My Advantage" may be the easiest lifelong learning tool for me to follow. I have a long history of using new tools in the workplace, dating back to the manual typewrtier. For those who don't know, that means non-electric. We had to exercise our pinky fingers back then! I had the very first Tandy personal computer which was introduced by Radio Shack in the Seventies. The only difficulty I have now with new technologies is the cost of upgrading and the appalling contribution old hardware makes to our growing trash heaps.

My hardest lifelong learning habit

The first lifelong learning habit - Begin With an End in Mind - is probably the hardest habit for me to follow. The reason for this aimlessness is I often pursue a new interest with no goal in mind beccause I just love to learn about different things or how to do something new. Although that may cause me to be a Jack-of-All-Trades and Master-of-None, at times I find myself better prepared for a new pursuit than I would be otherwise.
